Dad's Corner WOW…it has been a long time since I posted. J I believe the last time was April 4th….
I wanted to take this opportunity to THANK YOU and express my thanks for the many blessings we have received over this year. We have so much to be thankful for, it’s hard to know where to begin. But no matter where we begin, I’m always reminded of this quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes ….”The Great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving”.

Dad's Corner We were told within those first days that we should not anticipate anything for a minimum of 6 months. WOW…Our GOD is great!!!! We have seen unbelievable growth, will power and determination. Thank you son and thank you GOD.
Thank you all who continue to pray, offer kind words, phone calls and those wonderful visits. May GOD bless you and your family as much as he has ours.

Dad's Corner It has been awhile since I have posted. I want to take this opportunity to THANK
EVERYONE but also call thanks to some of those special people.
A big THANK YOU to the Dr’s, nurses and therapists that continue to push and work Mike like a loved family member.
THANK YOU to David, Mary, Nathan, Sylvette and Emily. David and Mary, thank you for stepping in when we have lost time but still have a million things left to do and for the wonderful meal we will have on Saturday…..no pressure David. Nate and Seebee, we cannot thank you enough for everything you have and continue to do - the cooked weeknight dinners, date night, pizza parties, El Taco lunches, Costco shopping, picking up milk and on and on and on and on. Emily, thank you for being a loving understanding daughter and sister, for continuing to work hard in school and for an awesome report card.
THANK YOU to Karl, Matt, Jimmy, Danny and Amanda for your weekly visits and supporting words for me and Rae..
Kem Hicks, words cannot THANK YOU enough for everything you’ve done behind the scene – don’t give up on us.
Ron, Kristen, Barb, Ray, Adrea (Mom), Robert (Dad), Ben and Rondi, THANK YOU for your supporting words, visits and many prayers. Barb, thank you for the blond jokes, they were very funny.

Dad's Corner Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!! Mike, we did it. We pulled off a small surprise birthday party for your Mom. She loved it and she did not have the slightest idea. My trip is going good and San Diego is nice but not as nice as sitting by your bed looking out onto those rolling Virginia hills. I love you, miss you and will see you on Friday.
Thank You Nate, Sylvette, Emily, Jennifer, Mary and everyone else for helping pull this off.
