This week has been pretty good. I started the bridge program and met all my new counselors, its going pretty good so far. Excited to get back into things. Getting back in the water has been great. Thanks to Nate, Dan and Dad for helping me try to stay healthy and to everybody that’s been coming over to keep me company. I appreciate all the love I’ve been getting it really helps keep my spirits up. My days are tiring but I can stay motivated because I can see where it’s taking me. Who knows how it’s going to end.
Hey Mike…it’s your Mom’s friend Shelby. I was just reading your message and all I can say is WOW!! I looked back at your first message and I am just blown away by your progress. You are amazing!! Keep up the great work my friend!!
It was so great to see you, not only once, but twice this weekend:) I am so amazed by you and your progress. Next time you are up for some GAR food, let Nate know, and we can venture to Coastal Flats or Artie’s for dinner. Till then, Livestrong Mike.
Mike,
Bobby News uncle from California here. There are words to describe what you have done since the accident: Superhero.
Warrior. Competitor. Unvanquished. Valiant.
Beloved.
And many more. Too many.
Soar… others will follow in your footsteps because they lead to victory.
Hey Mike-
Ahmed from the Mergis Group here. The process that I read about weekly makes me so proud of you. I was always taken back by your abilities both as an employee and a friend. You are a role model to me in ways I can’t begin to describe. Happy Easter to you and your family!
We are all excited to see your progress. Keep it up!
Miracle Man–
I’m busy as hell at work, but just took about 30 mins to check the updated site and play the slideshow. Amazing. I had it on with the volume high, with my office door wide open, and got plenty of weird looks and stares. You know what? I don’t care. I’m about to play it again. Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. Chin up, be strong. I’ll get you some sweet autographed Redskins stuff when your recovery is complete. ONE
